The role:
Strengthening our local capabilities, Unyte are looking to bring on an experienced Project Engineer to join their southern team.
Taking the lead on some of our projects, you will be given the opportunity to streamline your development – further enhancing your growth with Unyte.
This role will require robust exposure delivering civil scopes such as Earthworks, Pavements / Roads, Drainage, Structures, Utilities / Water Infrastructure.
Your every day:
- Developing and managing the construction program and implementing mitigating measures to keep the program on track.
- Contributing to bids and tenders
- Coordinating and managing construction engineering activities to ensure that projects are delivered in accordance with plans, designs and specifications.
- Participating & leading monthly financial reviews and providing cost forecasts against budgets to understand cost to complete.
- Leading and supporting a strong safety culture.
Who are you?
Coming to us with previous experience in civil construction as a Project Engineer, you are degree qualified and have:
- Experience working with a self-perform business across civil is needed.
- Sound understanding of MRPV / VIC ROADS specifications.
- Confidence working closely with key stakeholders and managing client interactions.
- Clear driver's license and own transport.
- The ability to, or an interest in working away from home on a roster as some upcoming projects will be remote.
