We’re looking for an Interior Design Consultant to join us as we launch our brand-new, state-of-the-art Gallery at Collins Square, one of Melbourne’s most premium and connected locations.

THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking an Interior Design Consultant to join our passionate, high-performing team, working across our Retail (volume residential) and Knockdown Rebuild (KDR) projects.
Working primarily from our Collins Square Gallery, you’ll guide clients through one of the most exciting stages of their journey, bringing their home to life through confident, considered interior design decisions.
You’ll work across a variety of clients and projects, from high-volume residential selections through to more tailored KDR projects, giving you the opportunity to apply your design expertise across different client needs and experiences.
As part of our expanding team, you’ll play a key role in shaping the future of our design experience, working alongside passionate professionals in a fast-evolving, high-impact space.
ONE ROLE. VARIED DESIGN EXPERIENCE.
The majority of your work will focus on Retail clients building new homes, guiding them through the selection of colours, finishes, fixtures and upgrades to create a home that reflects their personal style and lifestyle.
You’ll also work across KDR projects, supporting clients through a more tailored and personalised design journey.
This role is ideal for a qualified designer who:
- Thrives in a client-facing environment

- Is comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Understands and enjoys working within the volume residential building environment, while also being comfortable working across more customised KDR projects
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
- Lead engaging, high-impact client consultations in a premium Gallery environment
- Prepare thoroughly to deliver seamless, professional appointment experiences
- Provide expert guidance on colour schemes, finishes, fixtures, and upgrades
- Confidently support clients through their interior design selections
- Accurately document selections, variations, and specifications within required timeframes
- Collaborate closely with sales and internal teams to ensure a smooth client journey
- Support both Retail and KDR clients, adapting your approach to suit different project requirements
- Stay ahead of design trends, materials, and innovations to inspire and inform clients
WHO YOU ARE
You’re not just creative - you’re confident, commercially aware, and thrive in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
Most importantly, you bring a formal qualification in Interior Design, Interior Decoration or a related discipline, combined with a strong understanding of the volume residential building environment.
You understand that great design is not just about aesthetics — it’s about helping clients make confident decisions within a defined range of products, finishes, fixtures and upgrades.
You’ll also bring:
- A qualification in Interior Design, Interior Decoration, or a related field
- Proven experience in volume residential building, ideally in colour consulting, selections or a similar client-facing design role
- A strong understanding of residential colour, finishes, fixtures, materials and upgrades
- Strong ability to read and interpret floor plans with accuracy and confidence
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines
- Outstanding communication skills and a natural ability to build trust and rapport
- A proactive, team-focused mindset with a drive to achieve targets and deliver excellence
