We are seeking a committed and proactive School Support Officer - Skill Development and Transition to join our team. This role is key in supporting students as they transition from school to post-school opportunities, by developing skills and vocational pathways in partnership with staff and the wider community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students’ transition to post-school providers through skill training and vocational development.
  
  

• Build staff capacity by modelling tasks, providing supervision, guidance, and training.
  
  

• Develop resources to assist with skill training and work experience programs.
  
  

• Use assistive technology effectively to enhance learning for both students and staff.
  
  

• Collect, analyse, and report on relevant data and evidence.
  
  

• Engage with local employers and community organisations to establish work experience opportunities.
  
  

• Complete administrative tasks and maintain accurate records.
  
  

• Participate in training and professional development as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Certificate III or IV in Education Support and experience in schools;
  
  

• Valid Working with Children Check;
  
  

• Compliance with CSPD’s Child Safeguarding Procedures and Code of Conduct.
