Senior Lead - Brand (Customer Experience & Marketing)

You will be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of Singapore's economic development. The EDB Customer Experience & Marketing team undertakes the development and implementation of EDB’s global marketing and communication strategies to reach and engage our international business audiences and stakeholders in EDB’s key markets. The Brand team is responsible for the translation of EDB’s business and marketing objectives into branding strategies and work plans.

 

The role of Lead/Senior Lead for Brand oversees the execution of EDB’s branding efforts, centred around the translation of a unified national brand, “Brand SG -  Passion Made Possible”, to EDB’s business audience. Brand SG was launched in August 2017 and is now jointly developed by EDB, the Singapore Tourism Board and the Ministry of Communications and Information.

 

The responsibilities for this role include:

Brand Campaign

  • Appointing and managing EDB’s appointed marketing agencies (e.g. creative, media, production and digital agencies) and collaborating with other functional teams within EDB (e.g. digital, public affairs, content) to deliver global brand campaigns across multiple channels
  • Measuring and reporting campaign effectiveness through working with media agency and research/branding agency

 

Brand Development

  • Working closely with Brand SG’s key government agency partners STB and MCI to advance shared agenda and work plan
  • Driving adoption of Brand SG amongst other relevant government agencies
  • Brokering win-win Brand SG partnerships with private sector companies
  • Developing a suite of Brand SG assets and toolkits

 

Brand Guardianship

  • Fostering brand governance for both Brand SG and the EDB brand
  • Providing brand counsel to internal EDB stakeholders, including the application of Brand SG

 

Stakeholder Management & Reporting

  • Communicating clearly and effectively with EDB’s senior management, partners and other key stakeholders on developments in Brand SG
  • Tracking of KPIs, ROI and budget

 

Qualified Senior Lead level candidates may have added mentoring responsibilities within the team.

 

The successful candidate should have/be:

  • A degree in relevant disciplines including, but not limited to Mass Communications/Marketing/New Media/Humanities
  • 4 – 6 years of experience in a marketing agency role or a corporate/government-side marketing communications/corporate communications role
  • Candidates with less years of experience may be considered for a Lead role
  • A demonstrated ability to apply digital marketing best practices to amplify the brand
  • Execution excellence with a focused eye on managing timelines
  • Integrated thinking across channels and stakeholders
  • A keen ability in fostering strong partnerships with stakeholders for success
  • Singaporean
