The Administration Division is the specialist team responsible for building and facilities maintenance (FM), efficient space utilisation and tenancy management.
As a Project Officer, you will work closely with the FM team and external vendors to provide value-added support to stakeholders. You may be required to review existing internal processes and policies, propose and implement procedural changes to improve operations in the course of the work.
Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Lead and oversee the Managing Agent and outsource vendors of the building and facilities at the National Design Centre (NDC)
Oversee and manage issues relating to space utilisation, tenancy management and maintenance of the NDC
Work with the Managing Agent on the venue rental activities and associated logistics arrangements including site inspection, rectification and reinstatement works where necessary after the event
Supervise and monitor all contracts and contractor’s performance
Liaise with the landlord, external vendors and internal stakeholders to manage and resolve operational issues
Budget, review and recommend yearly operating and capital expenditure
Oversee the end-to-end procurement process when necessary
Plan and manage all cyclical reports and asset improvement projects, ensuring compliance with all building and statutory regulations
Manage ad-hoc consultancy and asset improvement projects
To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be:
Bachelor's degree in any field of study, preferably with experience in building/ project management.
At least 3 – 4 years of related corporate work experience in building and Facilities Management
Good oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with attention on internal and external customer needs.
Proactive, self-motivated with the ability to focus on priorities and deliver in a fast paced environment
