About Human Resources and Organisation Development – Talent Attraction (HROD-TA)

 

Our Human Resources & Organization Development Division (HROD) formulates and implements people initiatives to support business strategies and maximize the potential of our employees.  The Talent Attraction team drives the branding, selection and sourcing strategies that position and promote EDB as an employer of choice and develops organisational competence in assessment and selection frameworks.  We are in the business of building a strong talent pipeline and securing talent critical for EDB’s success.

 

Role summary

  • As Senior Manager of HROD-TA, you play a critical role in EDB’s growth strategy.  This is a great opportunity for a talent maker to join an organisation with a clear mission and strong culture of purpose, to own, develop and drive the implementation of talent attraction and recruitment strategies.  You will work alongside a team of passionate and people-oriented professionals to strengthen EDB’s brand and talent pipeline, partner with internal stakeholders on a holistic recruiting strategy to identify and attract capable talent, and drive day-to-day recruitment processes, operations, and programmes.  You are committed to exceptional candidate experience and constantly looking at ways to improve the recruitment process for candidates and the hiring divisions.  You enjoy building professional talent networks and find immense satisfaction from finding and onboarding the right talent.

 

Key roles and responsibilities

  • Co-lead the development and refinement of specific recruitment strategies, in alignment with EDB’s growth strategy and best market practices. 
  • Co-develop a holistic branding strategy across the employee life cycle and pursue initiatives to strengthen EDB’s employer brand.
  • Develop and maintain strong professional networks to strengthen EDB’s talent pipeline and positioning as an employer of choice and a great place to work at.
  • Perform full cycle quality recruitment for middle level positions, from sourcing, qualifying, interviewing to negotiation of offers, to fill open positions expediently. 
  • Foster strong relationships with hiring managers and Heads of Departments to understand their business operations, manpower profiles, and talent needs.  
  • Lead the process to partner with hiring teams to assess job roles and necessary competencies, execute appropriate recruiting strategy. Develop cadence to discuss results of action plans and progress of filling open positions.
  • Ensure timely review and application of policies, systems, and processes, in partnership with internal (hiring teams, Finance, Legal, Audit and IT) and external teams.
  • Identify, measure and report KPIs around employer branding, recruitment and retention activities that guide business decisions.
  • Monitor and validate open positions and data integrity of the recruiting system.
  • Direct and guide junior team members to deliver outcomes successfully, including managing requisition loads across the recruiting team.
  • Lead and contribute actively to EDB-HR initiatives where relevant.

 

To meet the challenges of this role, you must have/be:

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in Human Resources or a related field, with strong knowledge and competency in talent acquisition/recruiting and employer branding.
  • Strong track record in sourcing, engaging, recruiting, and onboarding talent, as well as developing and executing employer branding strategy.
  • Experience in leading high performing recruiting teams in fast-paced environments.
  • Proven ability to engage stakeholders effectively across levels.
  • Highly analytical with a demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Singaporean.
