  • Fronting updates and enquiries on EDB’s performance from key internal and external stakeholders
  • Taking an organization wide view of data as a resource and how it should be collected, governed and made available to the organization.
  • Identifying opportunities where data could be leveraged as a tool for organization wide decision making, problem statements and corporate platforms.
  • Working with engineers from the IT department to support business intelligence, model deployment and decision-automation design efforts, as well as to enhance EDB’s overall data architecture
  • Partnering various stakeholders in EDB, from management to officers, to initiate, scope, conduct and support data analytics/science projects to implementation
  • Develop and implement initiatives to improve data literacy and awareness

To meet the requirements of this role, the applicant must have:

  • Relevant qualifications in Data Analytics, Statistics or Economics (related science or quantitative disciplines may also be considered)

  • The ability to analyze corporate needs and challenges, and propose solutions leveraging planning or data related tools and frameworks
  • A collaborative approach towards problem-solving with stakeholders, and the ability to understand and accommodate alternative perspectives
  • Be self-motivated, able to work independently and resourceful in solving problems
  • The ability to design processes and systems to capture and safeguard data
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to effectively present the key findings of an analysis to a non-technical audience
