What content marketing team does:
Investing in Singapore is not an easy decision for companies. They must consider factors such as operational costs, the business environment, and talent availability.
The team works within a fast-paced environment, developing content creation/distribution strategies to help potential investors make informed decisions at every stage of their customer journey. Assets are wide-ranging, including articles and podcasts that highlight opportunities in Singapore and Southeast Asia, text/video explainers that provide companies with practical advice on how to set up and hire talent here, and ad creatives to drive awareness or traffic to EDB’s website. Our distribution channels include our website, social media, email newsletters, paid campaigns, and more.
Our ideal candidate is someone with strong analytical skills, who isn’t afraid to ask questions and can create compelling stories across different formats to drive EDB’s business objectives. We’re also looking for someone social media-savvy, and who is passionate about how digital platforms and SEO strategies can optimise content performance. Being resourceful, adaptable and able to work both independently and as a team player are traits we look out for.
Developing and refining content strategies – from ideation to execution – to help meet customer needs and achieve marketing goals such as generating awareness, generating/nurturing leads
Content creation: working with internal stakeholders and external partners to produce and repurpose content assets to engage target audiences, such as international businesses and Singaporeans, across different channels
Content amplification: evaluating and using owned, paid, earned and other avenues to maximise distribution of assets to the right audience
Content optimisation: refine content development and distribution based on data such as customer insights and digital performance metrics. Work closely with analytics colleagues to conduct AB testing, monitor content and translate observations into actionable insights
Join us if you:
Have between four and six years of relevant experience such as in B2B content marketing
Are adept at crafting clear, engaging copy for various content formats with skills in other areas of content production such as video editing or graphic design
Believe in the power of social media to promote content engagement, such as developing microassets for distinct channels; are able to harness SEO and keyword research and use analytics to optimise performance across various distribution channels
Are plugged in to geopolitical, business and cultural trends, and understand how your work shapes our corporate reputation
Appreciate the importance of project and agency management, such as editorial calendar planning, meeting publishing deadlines, and handling both internal and external partners
Other qualifications required:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as marketing & communications, or journalism
