We are adding an analytical paid media manager to the BMC (Brand, Marketing & Communications) team of EDB. This is a unique chance for a highly motivated individual contributor who is passionate about optimizing paid media channels to enable an integrated approach to building Singapore’s brand relevance as a business hub and generate quality leads. This position will work within the digital marketing team and across multiple functional units in EDB (content marketing, brand, markets, and divisions that requires paid media counsel), to ensure paid media projects are successfully planned, executed, and analysed afterwards, while contributing to the corporate growth goals. You should be well versed with digital media advertising, managing B2B paid campaigns end-to-end (from planning to analysis), and agency management. You will be supporting the management of the global paid media agency and responsible for translating actionable insights into campaign performance to improve efficiency and conversions across the various channels – such as social, native, display, publication partnership – via tactics such as Account-Based Marketing (ABM). What the role entails: This role sits within the Campaigns team in EDB’s Brand, Marketing and Communications Division. The job scope revolves around creating copy and content to support the execution of campaigns run by the team to help EDB achieve marketing goals. Example of campaigns include activations to brand Singapore as a global talent hub or position Singapore as a sustainability hub for international companies. Content assets to be developed are wide-ranging, including ad copy, social media-friendly infographics, ad creatives, articles, white papers, videos, podcasts and more. The candidate will work with partners – media publishers and content agencies for instance – to develop these pieces and amplify these pieces through owned, paid and earned channels. Our ideal candidate is someone with strong analytical skills, who isn’t afraid to ask questions and can create compelling stories across different formats to drive campaign success. Examples of campaigns could include digital and event activations – for instance targeted paid advertising via various digital platforms or on-site events - to market Singapore as a great place for top talent to build their careers, or content creation and partnerships with media publishers to brand Singapore as a global sustainability hub. Our ideal candidate is someone excited about the power of integrated marketing: using various story-telling techniques, marketing strategies and different channels to reach the right target audience at the right time, with the right messages. We are also looking for someone familiar with performance tracking, and who can optimise campaigns. Being analytical, resourceful, adaptable, with the ability to perform both independently and as a team player are traits we look out for.
