Technical Claims Manager - Specialist Liability Parramatta, Sydney CBD
As a member of the established icare Insurance for New South Wales (IfNSW) General Lines Claim team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of sensitive matters (with a focus on historical abuse claims) and overseeing other complex claims, in consultation with Client Agencies and the contracted claims manager. You will bring a wealth of experience to resolving these claims in a measured approach balancing the needs of the Agencies and the State, and those of a model litigant acting in a fiscally responsible manner. You will ensure you and the contracted claims manager adhere to agreed frameworks for managing and administering the claims lifecycle. You will maintain a clear oversight of the key performance drivers and improve claims outcomes to deliver a strongly customer centric experience.
