JMac Constructions is the landscaping and building division of privately-owned national construction company, BMD, a fully integrated civil infrastructure group with over 45 years' experience. JMac specialises in all aspects of landscape construction including residential, commercial, industrial, public infrastructure, environmental rehabilitation and long-term care and maintenance.

JMac operates a flat management structure which results in quick and effective decision making and close interaction with senior leadership.

About the role:

• You will work closely with Foreman to monitor and drive construction progress to program and in line with drawings, specifications and health, safety, environment and quality requirements.
• With safety our highest priority, you will play a primary role in championing a safe working environment with a Zero Harm approach and ensure superior delivery of our projects.
• Lead a high performing team in the delivery of public and private construction projects.
• Work alongside the industry's top performers to deliver quality projects for local councils and developers.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• An understanding of OHS and environmental requirements.
• Proven ability to motivate and drive team culture focused on delivery of client objectives.
• People and performance management skills of labour, subcontractors and suppliers to drive high performing teams.
• Demonstrated industry experience as a site supervisor in commercial scale landscaping.
• Attention to detail.
• Previous relevant experience working on hardscape / softscape projects is strongly desired.
