Who we’re looking for:

As part of the Finance Team, the Senior Tax Advisor will work closely with the Tax Manager and the Finance Team in the provision of tax services for the business.

The Senior Tax Advisor will be involved in tax month-end, year-end and governance processes and will be responsible for: 

  • Co-ordinating and preparing income tax provisions, tax accounting disclosures and tax returns
  • Co-ordinating and preparing transfer pricing documentation
  • Reviewing updates to tax law and assisting with the preparation of impact statements
  • Providing tax guidance and support to the Finance Team and the wider business
  • Facilitating and providing in-house training
  • Assisting communications with external advisors and regulatory authorities
  • Managing monthly tax reviews and annual true-up journals
  • Reviewing and improving tax processes
  • Assisting with international tax requirements
  • Other ad hoc tasks as required.

The successful candidate will lead by example with:

  • Degree in Commerce or Business with major in Accounting and/or Tax
  • CA / CPA qualified is desirable
  • At least 4 years corporate income tax experience
  • Previous experience in international tax is desirable
  • Ability to establish and maintain relationships across different functions in the business
  • Attention to detail
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • High work standard and work ethic
  • Confident with vagueness and uncertainty, but is committed to continuous improvement
