The Role

BMD is growing its South Australian delivery team and is seeking motivated Site Engineers to support the construction of major civil infrastructure projects across the state.

This role is ideal for engineers who enjoy working onsite, taking ownership of delivery outcomes and learning from experienced project teams on complex, high‑value works.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting with project planning, scheduling and day‑to‑day site coordination
• Managing subcontractor activities and site resources
• Interpreting drawings, specifications and construction methodologies
• Ensuring quality, safety and environmental requirements are met
• Supporting cost control, progress reporting and documentation
• Identifying and resolving onsite technical issues

About You

• A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• Experience as a Site Engineer or Graduate/Junior Engineer within civil construction
• Strong understanding of construction processes and site operations
• Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• A proactive, hands‑on approach with a strong safety mindset
