About the Role

BMD is delivering works on the Palmer Wind Farm project, located approximately 70km outside of Adelaide CBD. This renewable energy project involves critical infrastructure including substations, transformers, and balance of plant electrical systems, supporting Australia’s growing clean energy network. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a key role in delivering electrical construction works across the project, ensuring safety, quality and schedule outcomes are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installation works across substations and wind farm infrastructure
• Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to meet program requirements
• Oversee installation of transformers, switchgear and associated HV/LV systems
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality standards
• Work closely with project engineers and managers to drive efficient delivery
• Monitor progress, resolve site issues and provide leadership to crews

The successful candidate will be a self‑starter with:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on construction projects
• Strong background in substations, transformers and/or wind farm projects
• Ability to lead crews and subcontractors in a fast-paced environment
• Sound understanding of electrical standards, safety and compliance
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Relevant trade or electrical qualifications
