We have an opportunity for a passionate and caring person to join our dedicated team of Support Workers in our Supported Living services in Abergavenny.
We are offering a 17-hour permanent part-time role within a service that operates 24/7.
To meet the needs of the service, you will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, wakeful nights, and sleep-in shifts, all as part of a rolling rota.
Day shifts typically run between 7:00am and 11:00pm. Sleep-in shifts (usually 8–9 hours) are in addition to your contracted hours.
Flexibility is essential, and full support and training will be provided.

Support Worker (Maternity Cover)

We have an opportunity for passionate and caring people to join our dedicated team of Support Workers in our Supported Living service in Abergavenny.
We are currently recruiting for a 22 hour maternity position for 1 year.
Due to the nature of the service, you will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts, as part of a rolling rota with every other weekend off.
Typical day shifts run between 7:00am and 10:30pm. Sleep-in shifts are in addition to your contracted hours and usually follow this pattern:
• Shift Example 1: 08:00am start → sleep-in → finish at 08:00am the next day
• Shift Example 2: 15:00pm start → sleep-in → finish at 15:00pm the next day
While not all shifts will be 24 hours, you must be available and willing to work this pattern as needed.

We are currently recruiting for a 25-hour maternity cover position (9-month contract) within a 24/7 supported service. As part of a dedicated team, you will be required to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-in shifts, following a rolling rota with every other weekend off.
Day shifts typically run between 8:00am and 10:30pm, with sleep-in shifts (paid in addition to contracted hours) included as required.
Typical shift patterns may include:
• 08:00am start → sleep-in → finish at 08:00am the following day
• 15:00pm start → sleep-in → finish at 15:00pm the following day
Not all shifts are 24 hours in length, but there is an expectation to work this type of pattern when needed.
