  • Leading and developing a Team of Performance Development Engineers who will be responsible for all areas of steady state V6 engine development testing & characterisation
  • Championing best practices, and be the gate-keeper for the quality of engineering within their Team
  • Continually delivering performance to the race track
  • Representing their Team in the key meetings including, Performance & Innovation meeting, Technical Direction meetings, Quality Gates, and LR & Race Readiness Meetings
  • Developing departmental processes to support world class engineering within our racing environment
  • Promoting open and effective discussions with other teams, to identify new development directions
  • Working with programme management to develop and deliver the desired PU development plans in the shortest possible time frames
  • Developing their Team through coaching, 1:1’s, objective setting, and mid and end of year reviews
  • Ensuring the health and safety of direct reports and others within the work environment
  • The day to day management of employees and employment issues
  • Adhering to company policy, procedure and UK legislation

  • Managing people and processes
  • Development test specification, preparation, execution, results analysis and reporting
  • Data analysis tools
  • Managing or running engines on dynos

Hold these qualifications…

  • 2:1 degree (minimum) in mechanical engineering or similar discipline
