Join our dynamic team at Student Central, the hub for all student inquiries across our campuses, including the cloud platform. We are seeking a dedicated Student Adviser to provide comprehensive support and guidance specifically tailored to students enrolled in science, engineering, and built environment courses. As a Student Adviser, you will play a key role in enhancing the student experience by offering expert advice, managing administrative services, and ensuring seamless engagement to promote student success.

As a Student Adviser, you will:

  • Provide information, advice and support to Science, Engineering and Built Environment students
  • Contribute to the implementation of strategies and programs to improve the student experience and contribute to improved ways of working
  • Provide resolutions to complex student enquiries
  • Coordinate and implement a range of administrative services to support students
  • Review, evaluate and implement systems, process and practices to improve response times, increase quality, reduce costs and foster a culture of customer service excellence

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • Completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • Completion of an Associate Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant work experience and/or education and training
  • Experience in administration and related activities in a large organisation with complex administrative structures, policies, and procedures.
  • Customer services experience, preferably in a tertiary educational institution
  • Knowledge of student/staff policies and procedures in a university environment
  • Experience in operating in a high-pressure diverse environment, involving face to face, phone, and written issues.
