About the role
The Senior Consultant, Change Programs is part of the university-wide organisational change management function. In partnership with Deakin Transformation, and in collaboration with the Associate Director and key stakeholders, this position will take an intentional and proactive approach to delivering Deakin’s strategic goals through leading change management on organisational, digital and infrastructure programs and projects.
As the Senior Consultant, Change Programs, you will:
- Drive consistent practices for organisational, digital and infrastructure change projects, diagnose challenges and opportunities, facilitate change and organisational design in partnership with senior leaders and relevant People and Culture and Transformation teams.
- Lead end-to-end change management, on a range of strategic university change programs and projects. Facilitate appropriate research, governance, design, consultation (in alignment with university obligations) and implementation activities.
- Deliver effective change, leveraging university-wide frameworks, policies, and governance practices.
- Actively engage and enable collaboration across teams and with a diverse range of stakeholders to negotiate inclusive and accessible solutions and achieve strategic goals.
To be successful, you’ll bring
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience developing and implementing contemporary organisational change solutions, strategies and services to achieve Deakin’s objectives.
- Experience designing effective solutions to complex business and technical problems.
- Experience managing stakeholders to achieve project outcomes.
