About the role:
We are currently seeking to appoint a Senior Officer, Campaigns and Events to support the planning, implementation and coordination of a range of undergraduate and postgraduate events, campaigns and strategic activities for the Future Students team. The position is required to work in close collaboration with the Campaign and Events Coordinators across the team and key stakeholders across the University to ensure the marketing plan objectives are achieved. In addition, the role contributes to the coordination of digital and face to face events and initiatives targeting prospective students and key influencers.
As a Senior Officer, Campaigns and Events you will:
- Develop and implement practical, accessible solutions based on stakeholder needs
- Plan and prioritise work and critical activities appropriately and recognise barriers to achieving outcomes, finds practical ways to deal with them and evaluates progress
- Actively seek client feedback on products and services, respond transparently, and identify practical improvements to enhance customer experience.
- Provide clear and ethical advice to clients, addressing immediate needs and offering practical recommendations.
- Establish and demonstrate a high level of learning, energy and commitment and maintain personal integrity and make decisions consistent with university values
To be successful, you’ll have:
- A Degree with subsequent relevant experience; or
- Extensive experience and specialist knowledge or broad knowledge in technical or administrative fields; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
- Experience in event, project management, marketing, communications or related areas
- Experience executing multiple activities and initiatives simultaneously within tight deadlines, with excellent attention to detail in a busy and complex environment
- Experience interacting, influencing and negotiating with a wide range of stakeholders to achieve objectives
