As a Officer, Faculty Timetable you will:
- Assist with the development and maintenance of the academic timetable, ensuring teaching space allocations support effective curriculum delivery and comply with university policies.
- Support continuous improvement by providing feedback on timetabling processes and identifying practical enhancements to improve efficiency.
- Address basic timetabling queries from staff and students, offering guidance on scheduling matters and referring more complex inquiries to relevant university units.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with academic and administrative stakeholders to facilitate smooth timetabling operations.
- Gather and review timetabling data to support informed decision-making and resolve scheduling challenges.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- Completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or Completion of an Associate Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
- Completion of a Post-Trades Certificate or Advanced Certificate and extensive relevant experience as a technician; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
- Experience in using timetabling systems within a university environment, or experience maintaining a complex database
- Demonstrated data literacy and proficiency in MS Excel
- Demonstrated problem solving skills and attention to detail, including the ability to apply these qualities in a professional context
