  • Full-time (Part-time arrangements available) and fixed-term until December 2028

  • $86,599 - $116,417 (Level A) + 17% superannuation

What you will Deliver:

  • High-quality research and creative activities that generate impactful publications, outputs and contributions to the field.
  • Collaboration across disciplines and with industry partners, building strong research networks and identifying opportunities for partnerships.
  • Research funding capability and leading competitive grant and funding applications.
  • Support and mentorship to students and early-career researchers, including co-supervising Honours/HDR students and working with experienced mentors.
  • A strong research profile and impact, communicating outcomes effectively and developing a track record of excellence, timely delivery, recognition and community/industry impact.

 

You may be a great fit for this role if you have:

  • PhD and/or other relevant qualifications and experience in chemical engineering, materials engineering/science, environmental engineering or related technical disciplines.
  • Demonstrated experience with particle agglomeration and laboratory proficiency.
  • Emerging research and scholarship through publications, and/or exhibitions as appropriate to the discipline.
  • Capacity to contribute to teaching, research and administration.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues.
  • Ability to contribute to communities and engagement through research.
  • This position may require the incumbent to travel domestically and/or internationally to attend conferences, events and to represent the university.
