We are seeking an experienced Fire and Security Officer to join our Fire and Security team at Greenslopes Private Hospital in Brisbane.
Permanent Part-time and Full-time options available.
About the Role
The Fire and Security department at Greenslopes Private Hospital is proactive and motivated in providing services for the safety and security for patients, visitors and staff. The role requires someone who excels in a team environment, and is dedicated to providing an effective response to requests for assistance and activated emergency codes throughout the campus within the department scope. Additionally, this role is responsible for operating and monitoring computer based security, surveillance and access control systems.
In this role you will report to the Facility Manager.
To succeed in this role you will be well organised which will assist in prioritising your work effectively. You will be able to successfully work in a team environment while also demonstrating a capability to work unsupervised and alone. Your approachable nature and exceptional communication skills will assist in delivering excellent customer and effective conflict resolution skills.
This role requires you to be flexible and willing to handle a rotating shift environment, while also having the ability to work 12 hour shifts.
You will also bring:
- Current Security Officer Licence
- Previous experience in a similar role (desirable)
- Previous experience with Fire Safety Systems (desirable)
