We are seeking an experienced, Clinician to join our Orthopaedic team. This is a permanent Part-time (64 hours per fortnight) position and will be responsible for providing quality, evidence based and expert nursing care.
About the Role
Based in a 32 bed ward that specialises in spinal patients, this role is actively involved and demonstrates exceptional patient care and customer service that results in providing excellent patient outcomes and patient, VMO and staff satisfaction.
Collaborating with the Nurse Unit Manager and working closely in a supportive team, you will implement quality improvement activities and ensure the department is safe, effective and follows best practice. As a positive role model for the unit, you will be required to act as a professional resource in all facets, providing quality, evidence based and expert nursing care for patients.
To succeed in this role you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting, with experience in orthopaedics and a drive to problem solve and demonstrate conflict resolution skills. Your exceptional time management skills will assist when delegating within the dynamic environment proven ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs for patients.. Your strong leadership skills will contribute to being a positive role model with excellent communication.
You will also bring:
- Relevant registration with AHPRA
- Minimum three (3) years post graduate experience in area of speciality
- Holds relevant post graduate qualification, or is working towards Advanced understanding of ANMC competencies as per nursing registration
