We are seeking experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our Gastroenterology and Minor Procedures team at Greenslopes Private Hospital in Brisbane.

There are multiple permanent full-time, part-time and casual roles available for nurses with experience in Gastroenterology and Recovery.

 

About the Role

The Gastroenterology and Minor Procedures department at Greenslopes Private Hospital is a self-sufficient Unit providing care to patients from admission through to discharge. We boast modern, brand new facilities with the most recent addition to be completed May of this year in a new theatre (Day Procedure) expansion. We provide a range of surgical services including;

  • Diagnostic interventional gastroenterology
  • Pain Management procedures
  • Bone Marrow biopsy services
  • Dermatology and Plastic Surgery services

You will be providing care to patients both in the pre and post-operative stages of their procedures. The Department also provides a 24 hour emergency on call service and specialist nursing support to the Operating Theatre and ICU.

You will work closely within a supportive team, reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager.

 

About You

To succeed in this role you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a Gastroenterology or Recovery trained Nurse with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The flexibility to work a rotating roster with on call components along with weekend and evening shifts will be key for this role.

You will also bring;

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
  • Enrolled Nurses are required to be certified to administer medication.
  • 2 years’ experience or more as a Nurse in a similar department or ward. (Gastroenterology/Recovery)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team.
