We are seeking experienced Cardiac Scrub/Scout Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our Operating Theatre team at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital.

Full-time, part-time and casual roles available for nurses with experience and training in a hospital setting.

About the Role

We are seeking professional and experienced nurses to join our team to help us continue the high standard of care and professionalism with which our department is renowned.  As the Registered Nurse you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered.  To be successful you will be a committed team player with a passion for delivering excellent customer service and thrive in working within a varied and fast paced environment.

In this role, you will be reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager and work with a supportive and respectful team.

 

About You

You will also bring;

  • Relevant registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in an acute hospital environment
  • Ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patient
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional customer service and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and maintain good working relations with others
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration
  • Knowledge of legislative requirements in relation to nursing practice

Remuneration

Registered Nurses: Base annual salary of $68, 973.46 - $88,502.47 (dependent on years of nursing service), not including shift allowances or penalty rates.

Enrolled Nurses: Base annual salary of $60,019.02 - $65,798.63 (dependent on years of nursing service), not including shift allowances or penalty rates.
