We are seeking experienced Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join the Medical Ward at St Andrew’s Private Hospital in Ipswich.

There are multiple permanent part-time roles available working a minimum of 48 hours per fortnight.

 

About Us

St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital is a 178-bed hospital and is revolutionising private health care in the Ipswich and West Moreton region. We’ve been growing and expanding our clinical capabilities and have recently opened the region’s first private emergency department along with a new intensive care unit which supports the Emergency Department. An additional 81 new private patient rooms and new operating theatres and sterilising department have also been added to our hospital. A new Women’s and Children’s unit provides quality local obstetric and paediatric services, supported by three new labour delivery suites. A new Renal Dialysis Unit was opened in November 2018, to further expand our clinical capabilities and enhance our position as a treatment centre of choice. The redevelopment of our hospital also included the redesign of our rehabilitation services, which is now a 39-bed rehabilitation/medical ward and a state-of-the-art gymnasium; a new rehabilitation day program and outpatient services. 

 

About the Role

St Andrew’s is constantly seeking for opportunities to grow innovatively and therefore, need clinical staff to join our recently built general Medical Ward! This 32-bed ward provides care to patients of all ages with a broad spectrum of medical conditions.

As a member of our clinical team you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality service is provided to our patients. You will be joining a team of passionate professionals driven to exceed Ramsay’s high standard of client care.

In this role you will report to the Nurse Unit Manager of the Medical Ward.

 

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained Nurse with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

The flexibility to work a rotating roster with on call components along with weekend and evening shifts will be key for this role.

You will also bring;

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse.
  • Enrolled Nurses are required to be certified to administer IV and medication.
  • 2 years’ experience or more as a Nurse in a similar ward setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team.

Remuneration

On offer is a PRO RATA Full-Time Equivalent salary ranging from;

  • $61,000 -$65,000 + Superannuation per annum based on experience level for Enrolled Nurses.
