We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Catheter Laboratory at Pindara Private Hospital in Gold Coast on a Permanent Part-Time basis. Shifts will cover a 7-day rotating roster with on-call responsibilities.

Pindara Private Hospital is a modern 348 licensed acute care Hospital with extensive on site facilities including a 24 hour Emergency Department, 14 Operating Theatres and more. Our Cardiac Catheter Laboratory offers 24-hour, 7 day-a-week emergency cover. State-of-the-art technology enables specialisation in a comprehensive range of procedures such as balloon angioplasty, coronary stenting and insertion of pacemakers, Electrophysiology studies and Ablation.
Reporting to the Cath Lab Coordinator, the Registered Nurse will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Department Manager, Clinical Nurse, Team and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered in line with the care values and strategic direction of the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding the scope of practice in line with relevant registration and have the ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients.
You will have exceptional customer service, strong communication and thrive in a fast-paced environment:
- Current Nursing registration with AHPRA
- 3-5 years of experience in Cardiac Catheter Laboratory Nursing in an acute care setting.
- Experience in working Cardiac Cath Lab on-call shifts.
- High-level problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Quality / Continuous Improvement processes
- Demonstrate ability to successfully work as a cohesive team member
