We are seeking an experienced Clinical Midwife to join the Maternity ward at Peel Health Campus, located in Mandurah.
This is a Permanent Full-Time role.

Our Maternity Unit is a 20-bed antenatal / postnatal unit with 3 birth suites, a low risk midwifery led antenatal clinic, specialist obstetric clinic and GP obstetrician model of care. In the role of a Clinical Midwife, you will contribute to, and participate in, the education of all levels of staff by being involved in department orientation, in-servicing and clinical competence programs, as well as undertaking mental, social and physical assessments, treatment and delivery of continuing care / case management for Maternity patients and Neonates.
As a Clinical Midwife, providing leadership and a high level of quality care to all parents and neonates with the multidisciplinary team, in line with the core values and strategic direction of the Hospital. You will have demonstrated leadership experience and an advanced level of clinical practice skills with the ability to plan and coordinate patient care. You will possess knowledge in the understanding of the principles and clinical governance and its application to this role.
You will also bring:
- Relevant registration with AHPRA;
- Minimum of 3 years post registration experience;
- Demonstrated experience as a coordinator;
- High level of interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills;
- Experience in liaising with family members, a broad range of health professionals and community agencies.
