We are seeking experienced Registered Midwives to join the Maternity ward at Peel Health Campus, our Mandurah based hospital in Perth.
There are TWO Permanent Full-Time roles available.
About the Role
Peel Health Campus is a 128-inpatient bed, acute care hospital and is dedicated to providing high quality public and private healthcare to the residents of the Mandurah and Peel regions. Peel Health Campus has established an excellent reputation in the community for its commitment to high quality patient care, delivered by our caring team. Our maternity ward provides a 24-hour comprehensive spectrum of maternity services to the highest standards of clinical care by doctors and midwives supported by well-equipped facilities.
The Registered Midwife is responsible for providing a high level of quality care to all parents and neonates in line with the core values and the strategic direction of both the Hospital and Ramsay Health Care.
As a Registered Midwife, you will bring strong clinical-set knowledge and skills to this role. You will be a passionate advocate for the private hospital Maternity Model of Care and have the ability to work as part of a responsive team. The flexibility to handle a rotating seven-day roster with evenings and weekend shifts will also be key to this role.
While experience as a Midwife is beneficial, new graduates with registration are encouraged to apply.
You will also bring:
- Registration with AHPRA as a midwife;
- Previous experience as a Midwife (desirable);
- A sound understanding of the scope of practice for the role;
