About the Role
We are seeking a professional Physiotherapist to join our dynamic Allied Health team at Southern Highlands Private Hospital on a casual basis. Shifts for this role will mainly be Saturdays in our acute medical, surgical, and rehabilitation wards, with the requirement to cover leave relief where necessary. The Allied Health team provide an extensive range of rehabilitation services specially designed to each patient.
Reporting to the Allied Health Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for providing efficient and effective professional Physiotherapy services to patients and customers of the Hospital.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be flexible with shifts and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. You will also need to have the following selection criteria:
- Physiotherapy qualification and current AHPRA registration
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in acute, medical, surgical and a rehabilitation setting
- Ability to effectively plan, implement, and evaluate physiotherapy treatment programs
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Demonstrated ability to provide effective customer focussed services
- Availability to work Saturdays
- Ability to work in a wide range of clinical areas (desirable)
