We are seeking multiple Endorsed Enrolled Nurses to join our Surgical team at Pindara Private Hospital in the Gold Coast.

These are Permanent Part-Time roles working a minimum of 32 hours per fortnight.

 

About the Role

The Post Anaesthetic Care Unit at Pindara Private Hospital forms part of Perioperative Services, consisting of 14 Operating Rooms with a first and second stage recovery area. The vision for the Perioperative Service is to be recognised as an innovative and progressive centre of excellence in Perioperative Nursing through its commitment to provide a superior quality service to achieve best practice outcomes. 

In this role your key responsibilities will be in the planning, evaluating and delivery of care to patients in the Admissions, Holding and Second-Stage Recovery periods of their stay. You will work with a diverse team of medical professionals, nurses and clinical support staff driven to exceed Ramsay’s high standard of care.

In this role you will report to the Nurse Unit Manager.

 

About You

To succeed in this role you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service. Experience within admissions, pre-surgical holding and second stage recovery is ideal for this position. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced environment will also be crucial to your success.

The flexibility to handle a rotating roster with on call components along with weekend and evening shifts will be key for this role.

You will also bring;

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse.
  • Must have certification to deliver IV’s and administer medication.
  • 2 years’ experience or more as an Enrolled Nurse in a similar department or ward. (Surgical Admissions/Holding/Recovery)
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team.

Remuneration

On offer is a PRO RATA Full-Time Equivalent salary ranging from;

  • $61,000 -$65,000 + Superannuation per annum based on experience level for Endorsed Enrolled Nurses.
