We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse – Clinical Enhancement Programme to join our Coronary Care Unit at Joondalup Health Campus, one of the largest hospitals in Western Australia.  

This is a maximum term, part-time opportunity, working 64 hours per fortnight over a 12 month period.

 

About the Role

Working in the high care, 10-bed Coronary Care Unit, you will work alongside other experienced health professionals.

As an Enrolled Nurse you will be responsible for continually providing the highest level of nursing care, ensuring this is done in a timely manner within scope of practice. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will check, prepare and administer medications in accordance with registration requirements, relevant legislation and organisational policies and procedures

Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will work closely with a well-respected and friendly team.

 

 About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset working in Coronary Care, and have a passion for client care. Your effective written and verbal communication skills will assist you in providing exceptional customer service and working within a team, and independently, as required.

You will also bring:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse (without a notation)
  • Successfully completed EN medication administration education
  • Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant resignation
  • Successful completion of IV medication administration education

Desirable:

  • Advanced Diploma for speciality area
  • Recent clinical experience in relevant care setting
  • Sound computer literacy in Microsoft software programs
