We are seeking experienced Registered Nurse’s to join our Intensive Care Unit at Westmead Private Hospital.

About the Role

Westmead Private Hospital Intensive Care Unit (ICU), admits more than 1500 patients annually making it one of the busiest private ICUs in Australia. The ICU provides care for a wide variety of medical and surgical conditions.

The 16 bed ICU provides specialised care for patients who require constant monitoring, intensive nursing care and advanced respiratory, cardiac and renal support therapies.

As the Registered Nurse you will provide care to our patients across the full scope of our unit’s services and work with our professional team to exceed Ramsay’s high standard of care. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will work with a supportive and well-respected team.


About You

You will bring a strong clinical skillset as a Registered Nurse with qualifications, or extensive experience in critical care. You will have a passion for providing quality care and be able to effectively work with a professional team to maintain Ramsay’s standard of care.

To be successful you will require have exceptional communication abilities and the flexibility to handle a rotating roster with evening and weekend shifts.

You will also bring;

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a Critical Care environment
  • Minimum of one (1) year in ICU or Critical Care
  • Critical Care certificate is desirable for this role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain good working relations with others
  • Current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)

On offer is a Full-Time Equivalent salary ranging from;

  • $64,386.40 -$90,423.32+ Superannuation per annum based on experience level and qualifications.
