About the Role:
With the growth of our service, we are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to take on a key Therapy Programme Coordinator role. You will lead a small multi-disciplinary team to provide evidenced based Psychological interventions to the client population at the Cairns Day Clinic. The role includes planning, implementing and evaluating The Ramsay Model of Care group therapy programmes. As a team leadership role the team includes psychology and other allied health professionals and nurses which aim to provide cost effective and efficient Inpatient / Outpatient programs. The coordinator will also provide group and 1-1 programs. Within the broader framework the Program Coordinator supports the Assistant Director of Clinical Services and treating psychiatrists while liaising with internal and external health professionals, medical and nursing personnel in the provision of high level patient centred care.
You will be a qualified Clinical Psychologist with proven experience leading and organising evidenced based therapeutic group therapy and both outpatient and inpatient programs. You will have strong interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of organisational and problem solving skills. Strong leadership skills are key to this role as you will be leading and supporting a diverse team of health professionals.
This role will suit someone with a passion for a high standard of client care and with strong knowledge of industry best-practice in the field.
You will also bring;
- Recognised Tertiary qualifications as a Clinical Psychologist
- Full registration with AHPRA or Professional body.
- Training & experience in therapeutic group leadership
- Significant Experience leading and coordinating evidenced based therapy ie CBT, MI or Interpersonal Therapy.
- Demonstrated ability to plan and organise effective customer focused services
- Post graduate qualifications discipline specific or Mental Health specific.

On offer is a PRO RATA annual salary of $113,282 + Superannuation.
