We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse to join our Paediatrics team at Joondalup Health Campus. 

This is a permanent position, with full time and part time opportunities available, working a minimum of 42 hours per fortnight. 

 

About the Role

Working within our paediatric unit, which is made up of 27 inpatient beds and 10 day procedure beds, you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality patient care to a diverse range of patients. You will be required to supervise and direct nursing care within the nursing team, as well as participate as a supportive team member in clinical and unit based decision making.

Demonstrating a strong work ethic, you will work within a friendly and supportive team, performing duties under the guidance of the Clinical Nurse, Shift leaders and Nurse Unit Manager.

 

About You

To succeed in this role you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting with extensive clinical and professional knowledge in Paediatrics. You will thrive when working within a multidisciplinary team and commit to upholding and promoting the Ramsay core values. Your ability to use initiative, self-motivation and work with minimal supervision, will be essential for this role.

You will also bring;

  • Demonstrates ability to deliver quality patient care
  • Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Knowledge of current legislation and policies relating to nursing practice in the workplace
  • Demonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Demonstrates relevant clinical skills and knowledge in area of specialty
  • Ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of each patient
  • Possession of a post graduate qualification in Paediatrics desirable

Remuneration

Full time equivalent Registered Nurses: $67,996.69 - $89,477.89 plus superannuation per annum, based on experience level.
