We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Infusion Centre at St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital in Brisbane.

This is a Permanent Part-Time position working up to a minimum of 32 hours per fortnight.

 

About Us

St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital is a 178-bed hospital and is revolutionising private health care in the Ipswich and West Moreton region. We’ve been growing and expanding our clinical capabilities and have recently opened the region’s first private emergency department along with a new intensive care unit which supports the Emergency Department. An additional 81 new private patient rooms and new operating theatres and sterilising department have also been added to our hospital.

A new Women’s and Children’s unit provides quality local obstetric and paediatric services, supported by three new labour delivery suites. A new Renal Dialysis Unit was opened in November 2018, to further expand our clinical capabilities and enhance our position as a treatment centre of choice. The redevelopment of our hospital also included the redesign of our rehabilitation services, which is now a 39-bed rehabilitation/medical ward and a state-of-the-art gymnasium; a new rehabilitation day program and outpatient services.

 

About the Role

St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital Infusion Unit specialises in the care and support of patients requiring infusion and cytotoxic therapies: for chronic illness and cancer including: chemotherapy, haematological treatments, iron infusions, blood infusions and specialist drug infusions. 

You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team which prides itself on exceeding Ramsay’s high standard of care with a professional and positive attitude by creating a friendly, caring and comfortable environment for our patients requiring the above Oncology and Haematology procedures.

In this role you will report to the Nurse Unit Manager.

 

About You

To succeed in this role you will bring a strong clinical skillset with experience in a hospital setting as a trained Nurse and hold Chemotherapy competence. You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.

You will also bring;

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum one years’ experience within cancer care, ideally in an acute environment.
  • Chemotherapy competence is essential for this role.

Remuneration

On offer is a Full-Time Equivalent salary ranging from;

  • $68,000 -$88,000 + Superannuation per annum based on experience level for Registered Nurses.
