We are seeking a casual Physiotherapist to join our Allied Health team at St Andrew’s Private Hospital in Ipswich.

 

About Us

St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital is a 178-bed hospital and is revolutionising private health care in the Ipswich and West Moreton region. We’ve been growing and expanding our clinical capabilities and have recently opened the region’s first private emergency department along with a new intensive care unit which supports the Emergency Department. An additional 81 new private patient rooms and new operating theatres and sterilising department have also been added to our hospital.

A new Women’s and Children’s unit provides quality local obstetric and paediatric services, supported by three new labour delivery suites. A new Renal Dialysis Unit was opened in November 2018, to further expand our clinical capabilities and enhance our position as a treatment centre of choice. The redevelopment of our hospital also included the redesign of our rehabilitation services, which is now a 39-bed rehabilitation/medical ward and a state-of-the-art gymnasium; a new rehabilitation day program and outpatient services.

 

About the Role

Our Physiotherapists work within a supportive team of professionals, passionate about providing the best quality care for patients. As a Physiotherapist you are responsible for providing high quality physiotherapy assessment, treatment and discharge planning for inpatients in the Rehabilitation Ward and across the hospital in the general wards, including ICU/CCU.

Reporting to the Allied Health and Rehabilitation Manager, you will participate in the delivery of health promotion and patient education. We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist who thrives in working within a multidisciplinary team and will be committed to upholding and promoting the Ramsay Way core values.

 

About You

To succeed in this role you will bring a strong clinical skillset in adult rehabilitation with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. 

Key to this role will be flexibility to work across a rotating roster of shifts including weekends.

You will also bring;

  • Relevant qualifications in Physiotherapy.
  • Registration with AHPRA as a physiotherapist.
  • Ability to effectively plan, implement and evaluate physiotherapy treatment programs

 

Remuneration

$36 -$46 per hour + 25% casual loading based on experience.
