We are seeking a passionate Clinical Nurse to join our Cardiac Services Unit at Pindara Private Hospital on the beautiful Gold Coast.

This is a Permanent Part Time (56 hours per fortnight) role.

 

About the Role

Our Cardiac Services Unit includes, a 5-bed Coronary Care Unit, a dedicated Cardiac Catheter Laboratory, and a cardiac step down ward. These areas are run by teams of highly skilled cardiologists, nurses and allied health professionals in accordance with the latest Cardiac Society recommendations. We are equipped with advanced monitoring equipment and have the facility to manage any acute care patient, in a comfortable private environment.

As the Clinical Nurse you will be required to act as a professional resource across the scope of the Unit in all facets of caring for patients whilst problem solving within the clinical setting.  You will report to and work collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager in the implementation of quality improvement activities to ensure the department is safe, effective and follows best practice. 

 

About You

To succeed in this role you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained Nurse with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service. You will have exceptional communication skills and will be a passionate mentor with the capability to support and assist in the leadership of a team of health professionals. Specialty experience in Cardiac Medical Services will be essential to this role.

The flexibility to handle a 7 day rotating roster will be required for this role.

You will also bring;

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • 5 years’ experience or more post graduate nursing experience
  • Cardiac Services Experience essential (CCU desirable)
  • Floor coordinating experience desirable

 

Remuneration

On offer is a PRO RATA salary of;

  • $90,000 - $97,000 + Superannuation per annum based on experience level.
