We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join the Orthopaedic Ward at Lake Macquarie Private Hospital.  Permanent Full Time and Part Time positions are available.

 

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our supportive team to continue to provide our patients with specialised and dedicated care.  As a Registered Nurse you will perform duties with the support and guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager, Clinical Nurse and Shift Leaders to ensure a high level of quality patient care is delivered within the ward.  You will be responsible for assessing, planning, coordinating and evaluating the care delivery needs of each patient’s individual needs.

About You

To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective team player who brings excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. This role will suit a strong team player motivated to see their team members succeed.

You will also demonstrate;

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Nursing and surgical experience is essential
  • Orthopaedic experience is desirable
  • Ability to assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients
  • Demonstrates excellent time management and organisational skills

Remuneration

On offer is a full time annual base salary of;

  • $64,000 - $90,500 + superannuation (depending on experience)

 

About the Organisation

Lake Macquarie Private Hospital is a 187 bed acute Advanced Surgical and Medical Hospital situated on the Pacific Highway at Gateshead, 15 kms south of the Newcastle CBD.
