We are seeking a confident Receptionist to join our team at John Flynn Private Hospital in Tugun.
This is a Casual role.
About the Role
You will be joining our Administration Team providing a comprehensive customer focused service to all aspects of the Hospital Front Office.
You will be responsible for effectively performing the administrative duties within the department as part of a team that works cooperatively sharing roles and responsibilities to meet the needs of the customer. You will provide a high level of customer service directly to our patients at the front desk in greeting them and processing their initial paperwork.
In this role you will report to Administrative Services Manager and work closely with a supportive team.
To succeed in this role you will bring a professional administrative skillset and, ideally, experience within the Health Industry. You will be a proactive professional with a tight attention to detail and the capability to effectively manage your time throughout the work day. Any experience brought in patient pre-admissions will be highly regarded.
You will also bring;
- A positive and welcoming customer service skillset.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team.
- Experience with patient management systems (meditech) will be highly regarded.
- Strong computer skills with a clear understanding of the MS Office suite.
- Any relevant administrative qualifications will be highly regarded.

John Flynn Private Hospital is a 334 bed, acute care hospital located at Tugun, which is on the southern end of the Gold Coast, within 5 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport. On offer is a per hour rate ranging from;
- $25 - $28 per hour based on experience level + Casual Loading.
