Southport Private Hospital is seeking a proactive, confident and customer service focused Receptionist to join our respected and exciting Administration team.
This is a permanent part time position to work 56 hours per fortnight.
About the Role
You will be joining our Administration team and be responsible for providing a comprehensive customer focused service to all aspects of the Hospital Front Office.
You will effectively undertake administrative duties that will include, but is not limited to, bookings, filing, notation of bed moves, midwifery fund checks, admitting and discharging patients as appropriate, and reporting outcomes or needs to the Manager of the relevant department or direct line manager/ supervisor.
Providing a high level of customer service to all staff, patients and families, you will be committed to maintaining effective interpersonal relationships and work in harmony with a collaborative and constructive team.
To succeed in this role you will bring a professional administrative skillset and, ideally, experience within the Health Industry. You will contribute to a positive, supportive and forward thinking team environment with a tight attention to detail. Your capability to effectively communicate and manage your time throughout the work day is critical to this role.

- Experience with patient management systems (meditech) will be highly regarded
