We are seeking experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our Operating Theatre.
There are multiple permanent full-time and part-time roles available for nurses with experience.
St Andrew’s Ipswich Private Hospital is a 178-bed hospital and is revolutionising private health care in the Ipswich and West Moreton region. We’ve been growing and expanding our clinical capabilities, and have recently opened the region’s first private emergency department and a new intensive care unit which supports the Emergency Department. An additional 81 new private patient rooms and new operating theatres and sterilising department have also been added to our hospital. A new Women’s and Children’s unit provides quality local obstetric and paediatric services, supported by three new labour delivery suites. A new Renal Dialysis Unit was opened in November 2018, to further expand our clinical capabilities and enhance our position as a treatment centre of choice. The redevelopment of our hospital also included the redesign of our rehabilitation services, which is now a 39 bed rehabilitation/medical ward and a state of the art gymnasium; with soon to open, rehabilitation day program and outpatient services.
About the Role
St Andrew’s surgical unit specialises in orthopaedic, ENT, urology, gynaecology, oral, maxillo-facial and general surgery. In this role you will have the opportunity to work across the full scope of the surgical suite and be joining a team of clinical professionals with a passion for exceeding Ramsay’s high standard of care.
In this role you will report to the Nurse Unit Manager.
To succeed in this role you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained Nurse with prior perioperative experience.
You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The flexibility to handle a rotating roster with weekend and evening shifts will also be key for this role.
You will also bring;
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
- Enrolled Nurses are required to be certified to administer medication.
- 2 years’ specialty experience in a perioperative environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a supportive service.
On offer is a Full-Time Equivalent salary ranging from;
- $60,019 -$65,798.62 + Superannuation per annum based on experience level for Enrolled Nurses.
- $68,973.46 -$88,502.47 + Superannuation per annum based on experience level for Registered Nurses.
