We are seeking an experienced Career Medical Officer to join our team at Northside MacArthur Clinic in this Permanent Full-Time opportunity
About the Role
The Northside Group is a leading provider of Mental Health services in New South Wales. This role offers the perfect opportunity to work within a dedicated team of health professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists and specialist nurse therapists in delivering excellent evidence-based clinical care across our 48 bed facility.
Our Career Medical Officer is responsible for ensuing medical and psychiatric care including assessments, investigation, treatment and referrals are delivered in an efficient, safe and professional manner under the guidance of the Psychiatrist and Visiting Medical Officer.
To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate a strong clinical skillset with prior experience working in an acute metal health care facility. You will also demonstrate exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment in collaboration with others.
You will also bring;
- Current medical practitioner registration with AHPRA
- Minimum of 3 years relevant clinical experience
- Experience in an acute mental health care facility as a Medical Officer
- Competent in providing advanced life support measures
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
