Due to growth of our services, we are looking for multiple Registered Midwives to join our friendly and supportive team at Frances Perry House in central Melbourne.
There are multiple full-time/part-time permanent and casual roles on offer with hours flexible to candidate availability. Sponsorship is available to highly skilled applicants.
About the Role
In this role you will be joining a team dedicated to delivering a high standard of support and care for mothers, newborns and their families. Our multidisciplinary team of experienced obstetricians, midwives, nurses, lactation consultants and allied health professional’s work together to ensure a comfortable and confident experience – before, during and after pregnancy.
We have positions available across multiple clinical areas: postnatal, birth suite, antenatal and special care nursery.
You will have the chance to participate in a comprehensive orientation program and receive extensive support from the Nurse Unit Managers, shift leaders and our clinical development team in carrying out your duties.
To succeed in this role you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital maternity setting with a passion for women’s health and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
The flexibility to work a 7 day rotating roster with will also be key for this role.
You will also bring;
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as Registered Midwife.
- Recent proven maternity experience is essential.
- Postgraduate maternity qualifications will be highly regarded, though not essential.
$61,290 - $83,751 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances.
