A wonderful opportunity exists for a Dietitian to join our Allied Health Team at Hollywood Private Hospital.


About the Role

Hollywood Private Hospital provides a range of allied health services including, dietetics, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, social work and speech pathology. Our allied health professionals take a patient centred approach to treatment, which involves including patients and their families in planning and goal setting to optimise recovery and rehabilitation.


Working as a Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing effective Nutrition and Dietetics services to our inpatients at Hollywood Private Hospital. This will involve, but is not limited to;


  • Working with the team to Managing a variety of caseloads effectively and efficiently;
  • Providing dietetic services within the inpatient and day patient programs within the Hollywood Clinic including eating disorders specific inpatient and day program caseloads.
  • Work in close liaison with the MDT within the clinic and the Food Services / Catering Department; and
  • Providing education and training to undergraduate students, junior dietetic staff and staff from other disciplines as required.


About You

To be successful you will have a strong commitment to client centered interventions and care. Your demonstrated high levels of interpersonal and communication skills, flexibility and adaptability within the work environment to allow strong performance both autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team, and your client-first attitude is essential for this role.


The successful candidate will also meet the following criteria:


  • Tertiary qualification in Dietetics and eligible for full membership to the Dietitians Association of Australia as an Accredited Practicing Dietitian;
  • Demonstrated ability to appropriately apply Evidence Based Practice and Dietetic knowledge to patient management;
  • Experience working within a mental health caseload
  • Experience working with eating disorders
  • Effective time management and prioritisation skills;
  • Demonstrated initiative and creative thinking;
  • A commitment to continual quality improvement and customer focus; and
  • Willingness to accept and promote Ramsay core values.
