About the Role
This is a Senior Management position in the Clinical Services team. Reporting to a combined CEO/Director of Clinical Services, this role will be required to provide clinical leadership and workforce management along with operational support to the NUMs in order to direct excellent patient outcomes.
This position will be required to assume responsibility for the daily bed and staffing management as well as leading the After Hours Managers and the senior staff who are responsible for Quality and Risk, Clinical Education and Development and antenatal care programs such as the midwifery care model, childbirth education and pre-admission services. You will be required to demonstrate your experience in quality and risk management frameworks, clinical governance principles, reporting and policy development along with excellent written and verbal communication and high-level interpersonal skills.
To succeed in this role, you will be an organised, qualified health professional with at least 5 years’ experience in a senior clinical management role in an acute care private hospital. You must have a proven ability to successfully lead and motivate a team providing strong strategic direction and positive leadership; while not essential, relevant post-graduate tertiary qualifications in Business or Management will be highly regarded along with experience in a Maternity setting.
To ensure your success in this role you will combine your extensive experience in effectively managing human resources with a demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, problem solve and set goals and objectives as part of the senior Clinical Services team. In addition to excellent time management, you will need to be flexible, adapt to change quickly, and have the ability to work in a fast paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
On offer is a salary range of $100,000-$110,000 per annum + superannuation.
