Ramsay Health Care is rolling out the Integrated and Co-ordinated Cancer Care Initiative. Reporting to the Cancer Care Service Line Director, we are seeking applications from experienced candidates to lead the implementation and project management of this initiative.

About the Role

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Lead the implementation of approved roles/services/programs for cancer care with 8 local hospital/service networks (site/s).  Cancer services will be delivered across the cancer care pathway from diagnosis to survivorship in the hospital, outpatient and community settings
  • Collaborate with each network’s project team e.g. hospital executive, cancer care navigators, vendors, allied health to support the engagement with stakeholders, communication and implementation requirements
  • Support standard implementation resources and materials to ensure consistency of documentation of clinical care delivery
  • Project manage the project management group/s, milestones, timelines, risks and reporting requirements
  • Ensure workforce, IT, and business support services are operational to provide a seamless experience for patients, doctors and staff
  • Manage end-to-end stakeholder change and communications during planning, implementation with a view to sustainability
  • Undertake project improvement reviews to ensure learnings are shared and incorporated in the roll out to other hospital/service networks

About You

To be successful in the role, you would have:

  • Solid project management and implementation skills with a proved track record of delivering projects on time, quality & budget
  • The ability to manage projects across multiple locations and settings
  • Excellent engagement skills to support the change management processes and buy-in if stakeholders
  • An understanding of the health services sector and particularly the needs of cancer patients, cancer services, allied health services and community-based services
  • Knowledge of clinical services operations and their business support needs
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of Ramsay stakeholders including corporate (legal, IT, marketing, commercial and other technical support services), operations (hospital CEOs, management and staff) as well as doctors
  • Willingness to learn new information and travel to various locations within Australia.
