We are seeking critical-care qualified Registered Nurses to join our High Dependency Unit at The Avenue Private Hospital.
The roles available including either Permanent Part-time or Casual.
About the Role
In this role you will be joining our busy HDU team planning, evaluating and delivering care to patients requiring critical care. You will work alongside a passionate team of clinical professionals while guided by an expert team of associate nurse unit managers shift-to-shift.
This role reports directly to the Nurse Unit Manager.
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained Nurse with proven CCU/HDU experience. You will hold a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The flexibility to work a rotating shift roster along with weekend and evening shifts will be key for this role.
You will also bring;
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- 5 years proven experience within a hospital CCU/HDU team is essential for this role.
- A certificate/qualification in Quick Care/Critical Care is essential for this role.
- Surgical experience - desirable
- Any relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Completed Advanced Life Support course - desirable
On offer is an hourly base rate ranging from $31 -$42 per hour (excluding casual loading) based on qualifications and service experience + superannuation.
