We are seeking experienced Registered and Enrolled Nurses to join our perioperative team across our three key teams;

  • Scrub Scouts
  • Anaesthetics
  • Post Anaesthetic Care Unit

There are multiple Permanent Full Time to Part Time roles on offer with hours dependent on candidate availability.

About the Role

The Operating Theatre department at Greenslopes Private Hospital provides surgical services across 19 operating theatres and is one of the largest private surgical departments in Queensland.

Utilising the latest advancements in Health technology, such as 15 Endosuites, Cardiac/Thoracic specific theatres, new state of the art Obstetrics Theatre, Neurosurgery Suite with Intra-Operative CT Scanner, the Da Vinci robotic surgical system, and multiple brand new theatre facilities, the Greenslopes Private Hospital Theatre team operates on the cutting-edge of technology.

The opportunity is open for Anaesthetic, Post Anaesthetic Care Unit, and Scrub Scout trained nurses to join us and work across the full scope of the above services.

In this role you will report to Theatre Nurse Unit Manager and work closely with a supportive team. 

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong clinical skillset in a hospital setting as a trained Nurse with a passion for client care and a high standard of customer-focused service in line with Ramsay's core values. You will have exceptional communication skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Specialty experience in a relevant perioperative discipline will be essential.

You will also bring;

  • Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse
  • Enrolled nurses must be certified to administer medication and IV’s
  • 2 years’ experience or more as a Nurse in a hospital perioperative setting with relevant specialty experience (Scrub Scout, PACU or Anaesthetics)
  • Relevant postgraduate qualifications will be highly regarded, though not essential

**The flexibility to handle a rotating roster with weekend and evening shifts and on-call will also be key for this role**
