This is a Permanent Full-Time position (76 hours per fortnight) that we are looking to fill with a dedicated Medical Radiation Practitioner.
About the Role
The Cairns Private Hospital Cardiac Catheter Laboratory is fully operational and catering for private and public patients. Situated between the resident cardiologist's clinic and the intensive/coronary care unit the cardiac catheter laboratory provides the community with a valuable, lifesaving diagnostic service.
In this role you will report to the Cardiac Services Manager and work with a varied team of medical professionals and clinical staff.
You will be a highly organised and process focused professional with qualifications in Medical Radiation. Crucial to this role will be a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and the time management skills along with the capacity to effectively communicate with a wide range of medical stakeholders.
You will also demonstrate;
- Degree in Medical Radiations or equivalent
- Current full AHPRA registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia
- Radiation Safety Officer training (desirable)
